Export to PDF

Every product can export its schemes to a PDF for printing or sharing. The PDF is vector (text stays selectable and sharp at any zoom), not a screenshot.

  • Every document that has a scheme — functions, triggers, structures and so on. The workflow integrations document and the Arduino Devices document are never printed.

  • One page per scheme, always in the light theme and without the background grid.
  • A header line on every page: the document name on the left, and the project name, the date and the page number ( n/N) on the right.

  • Unsaved edits are printed as you see them on the screen.

The format is picked for each scheme separately: the smallest of A4 → A3 → A2 → A1 that fits the scheme at 100 % scale. Orientation follows the scheme’s aspect ratio — wide schemes go landscape, tall ones portrait. Only a scheme larger than A1 is scaled down, to fit A1; smaller schemes are never scaled up.

  1. Choose Project → Download PDF in the editor toolbar.

  2. Choose which documents to print: All or Active document only, then click Print.

  3. Review the preview — every sheet shows its format and orientation.
  4. Click Save as PDF. The browser’s print dialog opens; choose Save as PDF as the destination.

Use a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Yandex Browser and similar). Firefox and Safari do not support a different page size for each page, so every sheet would come out in one format there.

In the Falang app for text, logic and code projects choose Project → Export PDF…, in the Arduino app Sketch → Export PDF…. Pick the documents, click Print, then Save as PDF in the preview — the app asks where to save the file. No system print dialog is involved.
